A birthday song with their name in it, about the things only you know.
Not “happy birthday to you” with a name dropped in. A whole song — about three minutes — written from what you tell us about them, sung, and ready to send in about five minutes.

Written for Sara
What makes it land
Most personalised birthday songs are templates: the same verse for everyone, a name spliced into the chorus. They sound like it, and the person hearing it can tell within ten seconds. What makes someone replay a birthday song is recognising themselves in it — the burnt loaf they always keep, the way they sing in the car, the phrase they say every single time.
So the song starts from those details. You tell us their name and three or four particular things, and a writer drafts a lyric around them. A second pass reads the draft cold and criticises it, the draft is fixed, and only then is it arranged and sung.
It works for a milestone — a 30th, a 50th, an 80th — and just as well for an ordinary year, which is when a song is the least expected.
What to tell us
- A habit they would never mention themselves: “keeps the burnt loaf and gives everyone the good half”.
- Something they always say: “ok so don’t be mad”.
- A small moment from this year that nobody else would put in a card.
- How old they are turning, if it matters — and if it is a joke between you, say so.
A few sentences is enough. You do not need to write well — the details do the work.
How it works
- Tell us about them. Their name, who they are to you, and a few particular things. Pick a tone and a sound.
- We write it, check it and record it. A writer drafts the lyric, a second pass criticises it, then it is arranged and sung by AI. About five minutes.
- Send it. A private link that plays in any browser, the mp3, and a 9:16 video for stories. Not quite right? Remake it once, free.
$19.99 per song, one payment, no subscription. Three songs: $39.99.
Questions
How long does a custom birthday song take?
About five minutes from pressing the button. You can watch each stage happen, and the song waits in your library if you close the tab.
Will it actually say their name?
Yes. The lyric is written around their name, and the form has a field for how it is pronounced, for names a singer might get wrong.
What if the birthday song is not quite right?
Every song comes with one free remake from the same details — a new lyric and a new performance — and you keep both.
